The Freshman Academy's vision is to become one of the Central Valley's elite academic programs, serving to provide freshmen with the essential values necessary for academic success in high school and in college.

The Freshman Academy's mission is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters student academic achievement; to equip students with the abilities and skills to handle the social and emotional infrastructure of high school; and to instill them with a sense of civic responsibility.

1. Facilitate a smooth transition for 8th grade students entering the 9th grade.
2. Promote the importance of being organized, developing study skills, setting goals, and being proactive.
3. Inspire students to pursue academic excellence and the development of positive characteristics.
4. Increase the average GPA of freshman.
5. Continue to maintain and recognize student academic achievement.
6. Increase the overall Algebra 1 and English 9 passing rate.
7. Increase school connectivity amongst staff, students, and parents.
8. Encourage freshmen to participate in both school and community related events that serve to promote generosity, personal growth, and community pride.
